As the calendar flips to July, the anticipation for America's Independence Day celebrations begins to build. In Dayton, Ohio, a flurry of events, carnivals, and firework shows are on the horizon, promising to make this 4th of July a memorable one.

First on the agenda is the city of Huber Heights, which plans to start the celebrations on Saturday, July 3rd, at Cloud Park with the Star Spangled Heights celebration. The festivities will kick-off at 10 a.m. sharp with the City of Huber Heights Parade. The parade route starts at Chambersburg Rd. and Brandt Pike and wraps up at Nebraska Ave. and Brandt. Pike. Attendees can also expect an impressive lineup of 25 food trucks, ensuring a gastronomic delight for all.

But if you're someone who loves to stretch their celebrations, the West Milton July 4th Celebration Festival has got you covered. Offering four days of carnival activities from July 1st through July 4th, the festival will feature an array of carnival rides, food stalls, and much more. A parade is scheduled for July 3rd at 11 a.m., but the festivities will continue throughout the weekend at 249 E. Tipp Pike, West Milton.

Next up, the city of Beavercreek is all set to celebrate Independence Day at Rotary Park. The fun will begin at 6 p.m. on July 4th with a parade along Meadow Bridge Drive, continuing east on Dayton-Xenia Road, and ending at Beavercreek High School. The excitement will continue at Rotary Park with more activities, including food trucks, live entertainment, and a grand firework show, set to start at 10 p.m.

Also on July 4th, Kettering's "biggest party of the year" - the Go 4th Celebration - is all set to light up Delco Park. The evening will be packed with fun activities, delicious food, live music, and of course, a spectacular fireworks display. Highlights include a Fun Kids’ Zone from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., food trucks from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and musical performances by Southbound and Rockland Road.

Rounding out the July 4th celebrations is the 4th Annual Red, White & Brew on Saturday, July 10th. This community festival will take place in the front parking lot near the main entrance of The Mall at Fairfield Commons from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The festival is free to attend and features a Kids Zone and a Beer Garden showcasing local brewers including Warped Wing Brewing Company, Lock 27 Brewing, and Branch & Bone Artisan Ales. It's a fun-filled evening for the whole family!

This 4th of July, Dayton is the place to be, with a host of activities to choose from. Whether you're a fan of parades, food trucks, fireworks, or all of the above, there's something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
